Hendricks, Sonya

Welcome

My name is Dr. Sonya Hendricks. This will be my fourth year as a Transition Specialist at CGUHSD. I was born and raised in Pasadena, California. After graduating from high school in San Bernardino, California, I relocated to Arizona. I attended Mesa Community College and graduated with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS). I received my Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) from Arizona State University and my master’s degree and Doctor of Education at Northern Arizona University.

Throughout my academic pursuit, I realized it wouldn't have been possible to get to the next step without the resources and support of many people. My journey has turned into my passion of helping others pursue their pathway in life after high school.

When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my son Jerry, family, and friends. I enjoy traveling and outdoor activities.
