In light of events regarding school safety that have occurred in our country over the years, we are committed to ensuring the well-being of every student and employee in the Casa Grande Union High School District. Access to our campuses is limited to the main offices. For those visiting beyond the main offices, we have a monitoring program in which visitors are asked to provide the receptionist a DRIVER LICENSE or STATE-ISSUED ID Card that will be scanned through a monitoring system. Visitors are then issued a visitor’s badge to be visibly worn throughout their visit. Having this system allows our district office and schools to know who is on our campuses and to assist us should an emergency arise.
We understand that increasing security measures on our campuses may create some inconvenience for our parents and guardians at times. However, when it comes to the safety and well-being of all students and employees in our district, we take this seriously. Safety is always our highest priority. We will continue to monitor our practices and will do everything possible to keep our campuses as safe as possible for our students and employees.
Thank you for your support of our visitor monitoring system.
