A-F School Letter Grades

Arizona Revised Statutes § 15-241 requires the Arizona Department of Education, subject to final adoption by the State Board of Education, to develop an annual achievement profile for every public school in the state based on an A through F scale. The system measures year-to-year student academic growth, proficiency on English Language Arts, Math, and Science, the proficiency and academic growth of English Language Learners, indicators that an elementary student is ready for success in high school and that high school students are ready to succeed in a career or higher education and high school graduation rates.

Vista Grande High School 2023/24

This is the very first time that Vista Grande has received a "B" under the current Arizona Learns grading system, which has been in place since 2017. This year, the threshold for achieving a "B" grade was 65 points. Vista Grande surpassed this benchmark with a score of 67.45, marking a remarkable enhancement of fifteen points compared to the previous year's performance. This significant improvement reflects the dedication and hard work of both students and educators.

Casa Grande Union High School 2023/24

Casa Grande Union High School has recently achieved a notable advancement, increasing its score from 60.64 to 64.64 points, which earns it a "C" grade. This impressive four-point improvement brings the school tantalizingly close to reaching a "B" grade, falling just 0.36 points shy of the 65-point threshold. This progress is particularly commendable given the challenges often accompanying a year of administrative transition, highlighting staff and students' dedication and hard work during this transitional time.

PACE High School 2023/24

PACE did not receive a grade, this year, as it was their first year of operation.
