(CGUHSD) We are proud to announce that three of our educators have been selected as Palo Verde Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers Grant recipients. Thanks to this amazing program, they’ll receive $2,500 to bring exciting enhancements to their classrooms.
- Eunice Adona, CGUHS Chemistry: This grant will go towards replacing a fume hood and purchasing materials for science experiments.
- Benjamin Dague, CGUHS Guitar: This grant will be used to update instruments for the guitar program.
- Nathan Scheeler, VGHS World History/Psychology/Student Council: This grant will fund supplies for Student Council and support their fundraising efforts.
These teachers were selected at random during the Palo Verde Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers Draft Day, presented by SRP. They’ll be honored during halftime at the Guaranteed Rate Bowl on December 26 and will walk alongside the float in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade on December 28.
