(CGUHSD) Superintendent Jeff Lavender hosted a town hall on Wednesday night to go over the results of a student well-being survey. Motivational speaker and educator, Roberto Rivera, spoke on research that shows three things youth need to thrive: positive relationships with adults, the need for teens to identify and cultivate their deepest interests and passions (sparks), and opportunities to develop their confidence in influencing the things that matter to them. Our next steps as a district is to formulate well-being committees.
