CG-CTEStudentOfTheMonthAlexandraLeeAtkinson (1)
(CGUHS) Alexandra Lee Atkinson was recognized Monday, January 13, as the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month during the district’s Governing Board meeting. Alexandra was nominated by her CTE Software & App Design teacher, Mr. John Morris.

“Alexandra Atkinson is an exceptional student in our CTE Software & App Design program. As an honors student, she has consistently earned straight A’s in all her courses and exceeds expectations in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript programming assignments. Her dedication to learning is evident in the high quality of her work. Beyond the classroom, Alexandra is actively involved in the NASA Consortium for Space Mobility and ISAM Capabilities Capstone Challenge. This prestigious university-level competition requires a deep understanding of complex engineering and programing concepts. Alexandra is taking on the ambitious challenge of designing a payload for an actual satellite mission, demonstrating her intellectual curiosity and drive. Alexandra’s ability to excel in both academic and extracurricular activities is truly inspiring. She is a role model for her peers, and a valuable asset to our CTE program. I wholeheartedly recommend her for this honor of CTE Student of the Month."

Alexandra’s parents are Mr. Monty & Mrs. Melissa Atkinson of Casa Grande, Arizona.

Over 1,624 students are enrolled in 13 different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a different CTE program nominates a deserving student for this honor.
