(CGUHS) Emily Geen was named the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month. Emily was nominated by her CTE Engineering Teacher Mr. John Morris.

“I enthusiastically recommend Emily Geen for CTE Engineering Student of the Month. Emily’s dedication to her studies and her active involvement in SkillsUSA makes her an exemplary student. She is a high-achieving student with a strong academic record, maintaining a 3.583 GPA overall and an impressive 4.0 core CTE Engineering GPA. Emily's leadership skills are evident in her role as President of the SkillsUSA Engineering section, where she has previously served as Vice President. She has demonstrated a keen interest in electronics engineering, completing college-level coursework in both analog and digital electronics. Her contribution to NASA ASCEND!  Project team has been invaluable. Emily’s recent election as a SkillsUSA Arizona Region Officer further highlights her leadership potential and commitment to the CTE community. She is a reliable and dedicated student who consistently goes above and beyond in her academic pursuits and extracurricular activities. Emily’s parent is Mr. Ronald Geen of Casa Grande, Arizona. 

Over 1,624 students are enrolled in 13 different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a different CTE program nominates a deserving student for this honor.
