PNC Updates: All Students that currently have a PNC in any class will receive an attendance contract, an email with the Students Plan for success to complete, and an Attendance Credit Appeal form. All Attendance Credit Appeal forms must be completed by November 29th to be considered for an Appeal. Attendance Credit Appeal forms can be picked up in Coach Howell’s room B 104 or from your grade level Counselor. Appeals will take place December 2-6th.
UPCOMING EVENTS
The College and Career Fair is Today-Tuesday, November 19th. Come out during lunchtime and see all of the offerings set up in front of the cafeteria. There will be over 30 tables with information about enrolling in college, enlisting in military service, and starting a career.

If YOU have LEADERSHIP qualities and experience, YOU are eligible to attend the Summer 2025 HOBY LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE in Arizona with 10th graders throughout our state! We have exactly 1 month to complete YOUR APPLICATION PROCESS. Get more detailed information about HOBY by emailing Mrs. Crank-Townsend or making an appointment with her.
Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors! It’s time for the CAVIT & CTE Annual Careers Showcase! On Wednesday, November 20th, there will be over 30 high-paying careers on display for you to learn about and consider for your career after high school. Your 1st or 2nd period teacher will make plans for you to attend with your class. Hope to see you there!
CLUBS & ACTIVITIES
Are you interested in joining our winterguard program? Come to our clinics on November 20th and December 2nd and 4th from 6-9pm. No experience is needed. We will be meeting in the band room.

NHS:
- The NHS Can Food Drive-please bring in cans to the teacher of your choice. The teacher with the most cans can win donuts for their class. It ends tomorrow- Wednesday 11/19
- T-shirts will be in tomorrow-stop by to get yours on Thursday if you paid your dues.
- Don’t forget to bring in a toy for the Toy Drive by Friday Dec 13th.
- NHS members -don’t forget to pay your dues at the bookstore.
Key Club
FREE hot cocoa for anyone who brings in canned food to room E103 from 7:45 to 8 each morning for the rest of November
Key club is all about Kindness so come and sign up at the door of E103 for a variety of opportunities for you in the month of November and BRING IN THOSE CANNED FOODS to count as service time!

ATHLETICS
Our Girls Flag football team won a huge game on Saturday afternoon, moving on to the AIA Semi-Finals on Wednesday. We play Mountain Pointe at Mountain Pointe on Wednesday evening at 6pm. We are going to look into getting a Spirit Bus to transport our students who want to watch the game in person, stay tuned for details! Fantastic job ladies, this is the first time in school history that our Flag Football team has made the Semi-Finals! Let's get the W this week!
Boys Basketball Schedule for this week:
- Tuesday boys' basketball will have a Mandatory Fundraiser Kick Off meeting at 3pm in the film room.
- Wednesday will be Varsity Media Day. It starts at 3pm in the gym.
- Friday will be the first game at Gila Ridge High School.
