(CGUHS) The Amerind Club, led by JOM Student Advisor Gene Manuel, hosted a walk around the school campus this morning in honor of National Missing & Murdered Indigenous People's Awareness Day. MMIP Day remembers the many men, women, and children from native lands and communities who go missing or whose lives are tragically taken every year in this country. To commemorate this day, students and staff wore red. The red handprint is the national symbol of MMIP Day. All Native American students were invited to join this walk to remember those who have fallen from every walk of life throughout our nation. To learn more about the Amerind Club, visit
