(PACE) Darnese Norman was recognized as the December PACE Student of the Month at the district's Governing Board meeting on Monday, December 9. She was nominated by a whole squad of CGUHSD advisors, staff, and leaders who have had the pleasure of coaching or teaching her.
Darnese truly exemplifies the essence of a go-getter. She perfectly embodies our school’s mission to pursue excellence. She has demonstrated astonishing growth while balancing the demands of being a scholar student-athlete, all fueled by her relentless drive to maintain a 3.2 GPA. Her commitment goes beyond academics; she has excelled in Girls Flag Football and Wrestling, and has shown compassion as a leader in community service projects through Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy and various student leadership opportunities.
Darnese represents the spirit of teamwork, consistently motivating her peers and offering support whenever it’s needed. Her infectious enthusiasm and positive outlook make her a role model for all students at our school. We eagerly anticipate the amazing things she will accomplish in the future. Congratulations, Darnese!
