(VGHS) Congratulations to Eltorna Gant on being named the Arizona Cardinals Player of the Week, presented by Circle K. Eltorna led the Spartans to a huge 52-7 win over Mesquite High School, going 23 of 30 for 484 yards and three touchdowns, adding 10 carries for 45 yards and another touchdown. On defense, he added three interceptions and five tackles. Eltorna received a glass trophy from Arizona Cardinals’ alum Anthony Edwards to celebrate his outstanding performance. To top it off, he and his family have been invited to attend the Cardinals’ December 15 game, where he’ll be recognized during halftime and receive a jersey on the field.
