(CGUHS) Mrs. Mavil Murillo's AP Literature students presented their project presentations on Monday, December 16. In this creative assignment, students developed a marketing campaign inspired by the story The Monkey's Paw.
Students were divided into groups and tasked with completing the following components:
- A flyer featuring graphics, including a slogan and other enticing information to attract potential buyers
- A package insert detailing instructions for use and any necessary precautions
- An individual status report outlining each student's responsibilities in the project
Leveraging their understanding of the story’s themes, characters, and literary elements, students crafted an engaging and persuasive campaign. The goal was to showcase how the story's elements could be used to capture an audience’s attention while promoting a deeper understanding of the moral lessons embedded within the tale. Students were encouraged to think critically about the key aspects of the story and how they could be translated into an effective marketing strategy.
Congratulations to the students for their creativity, critical thinking, and insightful exploration of the connections between literature and real-world applications in marketing and advertising.
