(VGHS) Hope Marie Porter was recognized Tuesday, February 11, as the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month during the district’s Governing Board meeting. Hope was nominated by her CTE Marketing Teacher, Ms. Annie Hunter.  

“Hope Porter, a dedicated CTE Marketing student, has been named Student of the Month for her trustworthiness and willingness to go above and beyond. Always dependable, she generously gives her time to the Spartan Store. Hope contributes with enthusiasm and dedication. Her strong work ethic and positive attitude makes her a standout in the Marketing program. Congratulations, Hope Porter!”  

Hope’s parents are Mr. Jason & Tina Marie Porter of Casa Grande, Arizona.

Over 1,624 students are enrolled in 13 different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District. Each month, a different CTE program nominates a deserving student for this honor.
