(CGUHSD) Congratulations to Our Talented Art Students. A huge shout out to the amazing art students from Casa Grande Union and Vista Grande who participated in the City of Casa Grande’s 2nd Annual Casa Grande Art Museum Plein Air Art Show, sponsored by the Arts and Culture Commission. After receiving lessons in open-air painting from their dedicated art teachers: Michelle Bottomley, Bethany Shier, and Adam Hardy, our students showcased their incredible talent, with the following artists earning top honors:

  • Best in Show: Nicolino Savasta (CGUHS)
  • 2nd Place: Isabella Landrum (VGHS)
  • 3rd Place: Amber Knab (VGHS)
A special thank you to Michelle Bottomley and Bethany Shier for also serving as judges for the adult competition held on March 29 at Dave White Park during Taco Fest. Ms. Bottomley also got a chance to reconnect with a former art student who participated. We are so proud of our students and their dedication to the arts. Keep creating, keep inspiring!
