(CGUHS) The Cougars kicked off Red Ribbon Week with a powerful event. Mayor Craig McFarland officially proclaimed October 23-31 as National Red Ribbon Week, encouraging our community to wear red in support of a drug-free environment. Special thanks to the Casa Grande Police Department, US Border Patrol, Arizona National Guard, and Casa Grande Alliance for sharing resources and merchandise to raise awareness. Guest speaker Amy Neville moved us all with her story, courageously sharing about the dangers of fentanyl that took her son’s life. Her message is a reminder of the impact we can make by choosing to live drug-free.
