Zoe Cooper
A fifth generation Casa Grandean, Zoe graduated in 2015 as the Student Body President and was actively involved in various clubs including DECA, Key Club, and National Honor Society before going on to graduate from the University of Arizona. She continues to serve the community in leadership positions with the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary, earning the prestigious Rotarian of the Year award. She currently serves as the Creative Advertising Manager for Kramer Media, becoming the fourth generation of her family to work in the newspaper industry.

Tony Ivins
Spending his entire career at CGUHS, Tony spent 28 years teaching English and serving as the Department Head, as well as coaching Boys Tennis leading them to the state tournament three times.

Netterilla Kenney
Known as Trilla, she worked and volunteered for more than 28 years at CGUHS. Her larger-than-life personality was a perfect fit for her work as an At-Risk Preventionist. She believed no child should be left behind. She passed away in March and was represented by her son, Charles Kenney.

Katie Kramer
Graduating in 2003, Katie comes from a family of Cougar alumni. She is currently the Head Coach for the Cougar Spiritline, beginning her coaching in 2010 and has produced 11 years of state championship placements, one of which was a state championship title in 2019, and state runner-up in 2022. Through her leadership, the Cougar Spiritline also participates in many community involvement projects that emphasize the importance of youth education as well as the development of strong communities. Katie's daughter, Ava, is a Cougar cheerleader.

A 1997 graduate, Matt is currently serving as the Boys Tennis Coach for CGUHS and has led them to winning records over the last three years, hoping to accomplish that again this year. Matt serves as the Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sun Corridor. Each and every day, he impacts the lives of children in the city of Casa Grande through his leadership and as a volunteer.

Brian Martin
Graduating from CG in 1999, his daughter Leah is a proud Assistant Drum Major in the Pride of Casa Grande Marching Band. Brian has worked for CVS Health for the last 23 years, and supports and is part of the CGUHS Band Boosters volunteering at band competitions and football games with the goal of helping CGUHS kids be successful.

Dick Powell
As a 1961 CG graduate, Dick played Football and helped lead the team to an 8-2 season as Co-Captain. After graduating from Northern Arizona University (NAU), Dick returned to Casa Grande and ultimately took over his father’s business,  Powell’s Feed & Supply. Dick spent almost all of his adult life serving on public boards including serving on the CGUHSD Governing Board. His “Community Comes First” core value led him to serve on the Casa Grande City Council from 1997 to December 2022.

Louie Sanchez
The General Manager at the local Walmart Distribution Center, he has been a member of the Casa Grande Rotary Club and chairman of the Casa Grande Rotary Foundation Scholarship committee for 14 years. Through this foundation, Louie is proud to have had a part in facilitating the annual scholarship process awarding over $1.6 million in scholarships to our students.
