(VGHS) On Wednesday, March 26,
Vista Grande Library hosted the Living Library of Women in History event. It was a powerful experience where historical and influential women came to life, as local women from Casa Grande shared authentic accounts and stories of these remarkable figures. From Harriet Tubman’s bravery to Marie Curie’s groundbreaking discoveries, and from Josephine Baker’s resilience to Audrey Hepburn’s grace, we heard stories that were inspiring. We also got a glimpse into the lives of Coretta Scott King, Sacajawea, and Phyllis Wheatley, each with their own legacy of strength and courage. If you missed out on this incredible event, don’t worry. Stay tuned for future opportunities to meet more amazing women in history. Let’s keep celebrating their contributions and stories!
