(CGUHS) Mr. Arvin John Valiente Maruya's Social Studies classes were given the opportunity to deepen their understanding about the Five (5) Themes of Geography by learning about Philippine culture. Using the Five (5) Themes of Geography as a framework, the students had a gallery walk which focused on key facets of Philippine culture such as, but not limited to: educational system, geography, language, culture, transportation, and economy. In November 2024, Mr. Arvin's students will have an online international exchange with high school students from the Philippines where both parties get the chance to share U.S. and Philippine culture respectively.
