FROM YOUR ADMINISTRATION TEAM

PNC Updates (run Until 11/29): All Students that currently have a PNC in any class will receive an attendance contract, an email with the Students Plan for success to complete, and an Attendance Credit Appeal form. All Attendance Credit Appeal forms must be completed by November 29th to be considered for an Appeal. Attendance Credit Appeal forms can be picked up in Coach Howell’s room B 104 or from your grade level Counselor. Appeals will take place December 2-6th.  

BOOKSTORE

The Bookstore will be closed ALL DAY on Friday, November 8.    
  
COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

Curious about your options for after high school? Mark your calendar to attend the Union College and Career Fair during lunches on Tuesday, November 19th 

Seniors-Do you have questions about the college admissions process or want to know what it takes be an Arizona Wildcat? A representative from the U of A will be in the library on Thursday, 11/14 from 11:30-1:30 to answer your questions and assist you in the process. 

ELKS Scholarship 
Scholarship reminder: 
Seniors-The ELKS Most valuable student scholarship is due on Tuesday, November 12th. The information is posted on the Bulletin Board in the counseling center.

Amerind Club 
Reminder: Club Meets every Monday from 3:30-4:30 in E101 

Join us at Young Life Club Mondays at 3:20 in room D101. Discover why you are here. There are games, snacks, and meeting new friends. 

Renaissance Ambassadors 
Reminder: we meet every Tuesday in the Library 

RENAISSANCE 
GOLD AND silver renaissance card holders. Take your renaissance card to the bookstore to get your free parking pass, reminder these are only valid for each quarter, so every quarter you will have to renew your parking pass and make sure you’re still meeting your silver or gold requirements. IF YOU ARE NOT YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY NEXT QUARTER. 

FRESHMAN STUDENT COUNCIL MEETINGS every Tuesday morning at 7:45am in A195.  All are welcome.  Please join us to plan and to help with future fundraising events. 

The Sophomore Student Council Class will be having a meeting on November 12th @ 7:45am in room F209.   Hope to see you there!!! 

KEY CLUB  
-NEED EXTRA Money for the holiday?  GET your dues paid to have your name put in the drawing for a CASH GIFT CARD just in time for holiday shopping! 
-If anyone missed the meeting this morning please come to the meeting after school Thursday in the olaski 
-Get your HIGH 5 handmade and posted today during your lunch hour Today. 

NHS:  
1. The NHS is starting the Can Food Drive-bring in cans to your teachers and the teacher with the most cans can win donuts for their class. It starts Monday 10/28-Wednesay 11/19 
2. Please read the email I sent about volunteering. 
3. NHS members -don’t forget to pay your dues at the bookstore 

ATHLETICS

Boys Summer Basketball- Holds have been placed on your account. Please meet with Mr. Owensby or Coach Howell to see what you are missing. You will not be issued a season uniform if you have a hold on your account.  

JV Football- All lockers will need to be cleared and inspected. Lockers will be prepped for the winter season Athletes. Any unreturned equipment will have holds placed on accounts. If you need to schedule a time to return equipment, please meet with Mr. Owensby. 

Winter Athletes-If you play a winter sport, you will be allowed to keep your locker after you clear Equipment.  

Boys Basketball (10/31-11/11): JV (A) and (B) Tryouts continue Tuesday November 12th and Wednesday November 13th. Final rosters for JV (A) and (B) will be posted Thursday November 14th.  Get your physicals turned in and Clearence card from Mrs. Wagner to tryout. Varsity will host their Pre-Season scrimmage verse Desert Sunrise on Thursday November 14th at 6pmQuestions, please see coach Howell. 

Girls Basketball (10/28-11/11): There will be a Mandatory Parent Meeting November 11th. Questions see Coach Howell in room B-104. 

Winter Sports are quickly approaching, if you plan to try out for a winter team you MUST have your physical done and your account created on Aktivate prior to trying out. Physical packets can be picked up from Mrs. Wagner in B12.  

Game Tickets - Adults $6.00 Students $4.00 - Tickets may be purchased at the gates for cash or at https://gofan.co  there is a $1 service fee when purchasing through go fan.  

ATHLETIC PASSES – Athletic passes may be purchased in the bookstore.  
Student passes $25 (pass will be printed on your ID)  
Family Pass $65 (pass allows up to 5 people in) 

Athletes – If you are a 2023/2024 Winter or Spring Athlete or a CURRENT 2024 Fall Athlete, please come see Mrs. Wagner at your lunch to have your ID stamped for free entrance into athletic events – ID's will NOT be stamped at the gate so do this early. ID MUST be present at the game with stamp to be allowed into the game for free NO ID means you must pay the $4.00 entrance fee NO EXCEPTIONS!!! 

CLEAR BAGS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED  

NO FOOD OR DRINKS INCLUDING REUSABLE CUPS AND WATER BOTTLES ARE NOT ALLOWED – LEAVE THEM IN THE CAR!

THERE WILL BE NO RE ENTRY FOR ANY REASON – MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED!

IF USING A FAMILY PASS YOUR ENTIRE PARTY MUST ENTER AT THE SAME TIME!
