(CGUHS) Mr. Arvin John Valiente Maruya's Social Studies classes were given the opportunity to participate in an optional class contest named as "The Social Studies Challenge". In this challenge, student-participants were asked questions about World History and World Geography to test their level of knowledge about the said subjects. The students were also asked to share their insights and analysis on how civilizations grow and develop. Jacie Childers emerged as the champion of the Social Studies challenge, Emma De La Torre won 2nd Place, Nevaeh Moore & Hayden Daelick won 3rd Place and Madison Mineer & Jasmine Garcia won 4th Place.
