(CGUHS) During their Surface Area & Volume unit, Mr. Masa's Geometry students explored the properties of geometric solids such as rectangular prisms, triangular prisms, pyramids, cones, pyramids, and spheres by using real-life objects. In this activity, they measured the dimensions of the solids and learned how to apply the concepts of surface area, lateral area, and volume of the three-dimensional figures. Through this activity, the students saw how the abstract concepts of Math can be applied to real-life, making Mathematics more meaningful and engaging.
