(CGUHS) It was a big night for Girls Golf as they celebrated Senior Night at Dave White Golf Course in a match against Vista Grande and Poston Butte on Thursday, September 23. Lyla Shaw took home the win with an impressive score of 42, with Hayden Daelick securing 3rd Place. We are incredibly proud of our seniors, Sarah Olsen and Charley Blakeman, who played their final high school match. Our third senior, Christianne Bagan, was on the injured reserve list, but her contributions to the team have been nothing short of amazing. These three helped launch Girls Golf two years ago, showing great determination, sportsmanship, and passion for the game. Coaches Holly Adams Moglia and Scott Moglia say it’s been a joy coaching them. Shoutout to Delila Reed who just finished her first season and is eager to hit the course in the offseason to come back even stronger next year.
